SP Open House Aspiration Drfiters 2012

Hello people!

On the 4th Jan 2012, many of the secondary school students wearing uniform came to SP Open House.
We set up the booth early at 11.55am and lay out the track at MLT17A.
Although it is a small track, however it is a good hands-on experience for the students.
This year, we specially prepared small gifts to be given out to the O-level graduate students, who tried drifting with the RC kits.
Each day giving out 50 gifts to those who tried playing the remote control cars! First come first serve basis!
Although they do not know how to control initially, our helpers at the track will teach them the art of drifting! :D

On the 5th Jan 2012, lesser students came for the open house as compared to the first day.
We took some pictures with the students :D
They are having fun drifting and learning too :D
We do encourage more female students to play with the RC cars too :D
We hoped that more Female Drifters can join our club! :)

On the 3rd day of the Open House (6th Jan 2012, Friday), since the Popcorn & Cotton Candy booth is near our track, a lot of people came by and watch our drifters teaching the public on how to drift.
Hope all those who came for the open house enjoy our hands-on session with us! :D

Our Drifters!

On the last day of the OpenHouse, our drifters perform a simple twin drift Donut stun to entertain the audience.
On 7th Jan(Sat), it was very crowded and overwhelming numbers of people came down for the Open House as it is a weekend. Some parents are attracted to the display of the RC cars and students are excited in playing the RC cars. Some student challenge with their friend to race with the RC cars. :D

Here’s a short clip of our drifter’s Twin Drift Donut stun.

Thank you for those who came for the Open House!

Clubroom refresh!

During the December holidays, our club members sacrifice some time to give the clubroom a new fresh coat of paint on 13 December 2011.
GUESS WHAT IS THE COLOR OF OUR WALLS??? Bright yellow! [Sunglow color]
Bright yellow wall will give our clubroom a glowing atmosphere and makes the club appear brighter since our clubroom is located at FoodCourt 4, which is a bit dark and dull.
With a new bright color, it represents our Remote Control Cars with vibrant colors :D
We did a thorough cleanup! From painting, washing, mopping, sorting out things.
Our clubroom is clean and tidy after painting the walls :D
BEFORE PAINT:

Cracks were filled with putty on the walls, pillar and a fresh layer of paint was then coated on the walls.

In the process of PAINTING:
Through this painting activity, it makes our club members more united and increases the club’s spirit greatly for a better and cleaner environment. TEAMWORK IS THE KEY!
